This is a funny story from our honeymoon that I had to document so we won't forget! Journaling in card says: All week we enjoyed the fabulous service at our resort. At the beginning of the week, one of our first waiters had recommended a wine, which I thought he called “donkey”. It was fabulous. So for the entire week, we would ask for the donkey wine. On the last night of our honeymoon, I was attempting to use my Spanish in the restaurant, and I asked the waiter for the “vino de burro”. I thought it was my bad Spanish when he looked at me strangely, so I ordered the donkey wine as usual. When he brought an entire bottle, Eric and I finally realized that it was not vino de burro we were drinking, but rather, wine named after Don Quixote! Don Qui vino! We’re still on the lookout for some donkey wine in the U. S.!
