Wow I loved everything about this lo! Your title work, how you cutted out those bricks, your embellies and of course that pic! Congrats for your terrific piece!
I've commented on this lo before, but since I purchased the Bo Bunny papers..I got a reminder of what I can do with them. Love this design. I love how the lo records the shoes of today.
LOVE LOVE that picture Kelly! LOVE THIS!! Its awesome! fave! Love the design, the elements, the little cards that add up to the grade levels. Its all amazing! Lovin the DA piece too=) The angle of that picture is what hooked me, gunna have to try that angel out for my kids=) Thanks for the inspiration.
How C*L*E*V*E*R is this page?!! There is so much detail to look at ... and it works P*E*R*F*E*C*T*L*Y! Love the flash cards ... love the brick wall ... love the title and technique! Great pp's and embellies like the scrabble tiles and the gears. My kids go to a private school and wear uniforms ... I am kind of envious. This is really a wonderful page Kelly!
WOW....this is some LO....luv all your creativity here and the work it took to take all those bricks apart, ink and then put back together!!! SERIOUSLY FABULOUS foto and love your math grade cards and Scrabble title....well, I should just say I LUV it all....great job!!!
love,love,love.....FAVS! Fabulous details, I especially ADORE how you cut the bricks apart. Awesome texture with the cardboard. Love the cropped photo.....so much to see. What's not to love?! The addition cards for their grade is the most CLEVER thing....you rock! xxx
This is such an amazing layout! I've spent 5 muntes just staring at all of the details and keep finding more! Absolutely love the picture and the bricks! I'll have to try that method, since my son is a "Brickie" in our home town! Love it, love it, love it!!
This is AWESOME! I love love your take on the standard back to school photo!! Now I wish my girls were back in elementary school so I could steal (I mean, lift!) this idea!! Also enjoying the scrabble tiles and your clever embellishments on the clock face and tags! Aren't you just the creative Missy!
Wow...this is an incredible lo to see and then to read the details is just amazing! Such a cool idea for the pic too! Love the bricks, and the addition flash cards that give the ages is a great idea...thanks for the answers btw. ;) Thanks soooo much for sharing this...like Izzy said "straight to faves" and will definitely scraplift (or at least try to!)
Well, straight to faves. This is made of AWESOME! I can't stop staring at this page. That brick wall is the most amazing thing. I love the detail of the inking. What a difference that made to ink and reassemble the wall. I adore that clock transparency and your altered clock. The math flashcards that indicate the grades are so darn cute and clever. That pic is the best! I heart it to pieces and like you, I too remember the day when we actually wore clothes that looked new on the first day of school. This whole page is 2 cool. It's totally fantastic. One of the most creative, innovative layouts I've ever seen. I wish I could fave it a 100 times.
OMGosh, Kelly!!!!! This LO is THE BOMB.COM!!! Love how you did the individual bricks and the grade level cards, too!!! You ROCKED it with the grunge, gears and VERY INTERESTING PICTURE!!!! Everything you did here is ABOSULETLY GORGEOUS.....PLEASE, go take a nap!!!! SMILE
Like most of you, I ALWAYS take Back to School photos...but thought I'd try a different angle to show the kids down the road how they dressed for their first day of class. ha ha! When I was a teenager (back in the olden days) I remember buying NEW clothes that actually looked NEW.. LOL! I finally used a piece of Dusty Attic, the brick wall, which I took apart and inked the bricks separately, then partly reassembled. I also altered the chipboard clock, which is from Magenta, a Canadian company that also makes some lovely chipboard elements. I painted it with TA Glimmer Glam, then grunged it up a bit with Black soot distress ink. This paper collection is BoBunny's new "Learning Curve" line...love it! One of the pps has those addition/subtraction flash cards, which I cut out...one for each child, from left to right, and each card calculates to the grade they entered this fall....Serena Gr. 8, Matt Gr. 10, and Mila Gr 5. Oops! I cheated and gave you the answers!! :)
