Congratulations on the 20k win... your LO's are all wonderful but this one is truly stunning! I hope your daughter had a great time in her first pageant. You really captured her beauty and excitement. She is very lucky to have such a talented Mommy!

Ang: You have outdone yourself. The entire entry is spectacular. I LOVE this one too. The flowers are so awesome and the colors rock and it's just absolute perfection in every way. Good luck!!!
Absolutely perfect as the title says!
Even if she never won a pageant in her life (which I doubt would happen) she has this gorgeous layout that will make her a star!
Great job.

LOVE this layout! The way the black cardstock frames the layout and balances the page, the flowers that seem to trickle from one side to another. Gorgeous.

Wow! Girl, you are amazing and your daughter are just gorgeous!
I love how you used the flowers (they're so pretty) and the pp looks perfect with that photo!

Journaling: Your first beauty pageant. You really wanted to participate. I admit to being a bit surprised at first. You, my "if there is a mudhole, I'll be in it" girl. On the other hand, you are a bit prissy and love playing dress up. So the search for "the" dress began. You loved the beautiful dresses, and I couldn't help but laugh as you sang "I'm gonna win" each time you found a dress that you loved. Your excitement was contagious. This orange gown with the beaded bodice and skirt seemed to say "Michaela". Vibrant, feminine, and flashy describe you as well as the dress. Combined with your sparkling blue eyes, we decided it was nothing short of perfect. Expensive? Definitely. Worth it? You bet. February '06
Supplies: cardstock and mini brads - Bazzill patterned paper - Chloe's Closet, Imagination Project letter dies (Studio Classic) and one flower die - Quickutz rubons - BasicGrey
other: Austrian crystals
Techniques: I handcut flowers from the patterned paper and die cut QK flowers. I crumpled and distressed the flowers for texture. I also added mini brads and crystals to the centers of some flowers.
