Instructions:
Stamp an Iris Folded Card with the Lace Background inked in Dusty Concord.
Cut a 5 ¼ X 4" piece of Daffodil Layering Paper and stamp it with the Envelope Pattern inked in Spiced Marmalade. Adhere it to the folded note.
Cut a 5 X 3 ¾" piece of the Iris Layering paper and stamp it with the Cling Dots inked in Dusty Concord. Adhere it to the Daffodil layer.
Cut a 4 ¾ X 3 ½" piece of Daffodil Layering Paper and flip to the white side. Stamp the white side repeatedly, both vertically and horizontally, with the birthday definition stamp from the Dictionary Greeting set. To achieve the multicolored definition, stamp a craft sheet with 4 distress inks – Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Faded Jeans and Dusty Concord in a square and spritz with a water-filled mini mister. Ink the definition stamp from this mix and re-ink before stamping again. Most of the time part of the stamp is off the paper so be sure to have a scrap paper or the craft sheet underneath.
Tie string twine around the white definition layer and adhere to the other layers.
Stamp the sentiment from the Happy Birthday Cupcakes set onto Daffodil Layering Paper using Dusty Concord, add embossing powder and heat with heating tool.
Cut around the stamped sentiment leaving a small border. Stamp the sentiment piece with the Envelope Pattern inked with Spiced Marmalade. Using an ink blending tool, ink the border with the same ink. Adhere with foam adhesive to the center of the layered top fold card.
Add Stickles to the hearts on the sentiment to finish the card.
Tip: Use your background stamp in various orientations to add interest to your card
