Clever take! I have the opposite problem...my fan works but the light doesn't...thankfully, I have big living-room windows that let in a lot of light...and a good floor lamp.

Bummer. I have to have a fan. Even in the dead of winter, the ceiling fan is going and sometimes even a box fan is going. I need the sound as well, I always have one leg out

we just got ours put in. Had it sitting in it's box in a closet for 2 years... now it's finally up, and we love it.

We have them in all our rooms....makes a big difference!!! Hope you can get one soon. Fortunately through the years they have come down in price.

Bummer! We put ceiling fans in all our bedrooms and in the living room. This old house didn't have any above lights...guess that's the old style.

This ceiling fan in my bedroom does not work. The lights work but, the fan will not make a move. A new ceiling fan is on my wish list.
