This is the cover layout for a larger project I'm starting today. The title is from the book by Melissa Holbrook Pierson. This layout actually contains 3 photos from my favorite home, in the form of die cut butterflies! It's my grandparents' home where I spent all of my summers during my childhood and teen years. I miss my grandparents and this house so much! It's very emotional for me to scrap but at the same time I am so thankful for having these bright happy memories. This paper is like a road map of that country village! It looks just like that place, complete with the church my great great grandfather built, and the school house with the small library and the bank. A busy paper like this is hard to use without cutting it up, but I solved the problem by cutting up the photos instead, and adding small labels for the journaling, marking the different important buildings and places.
