I wanted to use a few of the papers from the Noel collection from Elle's Studio as my background and I tried laying them in all different kinds of ways on my background paper. I wanted to use the Noel vellum paper, but it was hard to see the pattern against my white background. So I decided to use it as a pocket!! :)
I trimmed my two papers 6x12 inches each and then stitched them to my white card stock. I kept the top of the vellum paper open and added some of the wood veneer, as well as a few gold stars I had in my stash. I also painted a thin coat of gesso over the Noel Snowflake paper to make it a little more washed out.
I built my photo on a few paper layers and tabs and stitched a pocket underneath my photo to hold my journaling. I finished the layout off with some simple twine and a few tags.
Thanks so much for looking!
