Brooke was so funny running around in her diaper with this purse, I just had to take her picture and scrap it that night. I made the border with a piece of handmade paper I cut into strip, then added rhinestones I found in the dollar bins at Target (I think they're supposed to be body jewelry or something). I then added beading along the edges to make it stand out. (I think this is why it didn't scan well -- it was kind of raised).
Journaling:
"Brooke 'won' this tacky green metallic purse in the Chinese Gift Exchange at Grammie's house on Christmas Eve. Months later, she still loves to carry it around. Not bad for a joke gift my mom got at the $5-an-under store! She recently started saying 'purse.' 5/19/06
