Supplies: BasicGrey Blush Devotion PP, Bazzill Heart Scallop Cardstock, Heidi Swapp Chipboard Alphabet, Prima Flowers, K&Co. Pearl Brads, Pearl ‘buttons’. I printed out index prints of some of my favorite layouts that I've done over the years. Journaling reads: Why do I scrapbook, you ask? I could just say that I scrapbook for the same reasons that most people scrapbook; to preserve our memories. But in reality, there are so many reasons why I scrapbook. My passion for scrapbooking started in January of 2003 when a good friend of mine invited me to an all day crop on Super Bowl Sunday. My first thought was, “hey, anything has to be better than watching the Super Bowl!” Little did I know that I would become completely addicted to scrapbooking that day!I scrapbook the special occassions like holidays, birthdays, vacations, etc. for the obvious reasons; those are days that I want to remember as the years go by. But I also scrapbook everyday moments; the ones that may seem meaningless to other people, but to me, they become priceless memories. As much as I enjoy scrapbooking, I have to admit that part of the fun in scrapbooking is shopping for scrapbook supplies. Since I have my own scrapbook room, it gives me a lot of space to collect (or should I say hoard?) supplies. To me, scrapbooking isn't about just scrapbooking the people in your life; it's about capturing the beauty all around you. I honestly can't imagine my life without scrapbooking in it now.
