Well, this would certainly win a “world's worst scan” contest! I just can't fight with it anymore - bottom quarter inch of layout was cut off and the baseball charm caused that shadow-y mess. Layout is of my DD's first time watching her mom play softball. This one took me a while to get right. Font is DW Journal, MM frame, raffia, flea market stickers. Journaling reads: “I’ve been playing organized softball since I was 4 years old. I started out playing t-ball and I just couldn’t get enough. I played slow-pitch, fast-pitch, on community leagues, on my high school team, on traveling teams over the summer, and now on a co-ed team that was started 10 years ago with some friends I worked with at Platinum technology. I love the teamwork, the physical activity, and the fact that I can get as dirty as I need or want to and it's all a part of the game. My parents were my biggest fans growing up. I can count the number of times they missed or were late to a game on one hand (and there were hundreds of them). There's nothing like having people you love rooting for you in the stands. Last summer was the first year I wasn't able to play softball because I was pregnant with Mackenzie. I couldn't wait to get back on the field this year, but even more than that, I couldn't wait for Mackenzie to come watch her very first softball game. Although I don't think she really understood what was going on, it meant so much to me to look out at the stands and see her and Tom there watching. No matter what interests she chooses to pursue in her life, her father and I (and I'm sure her grandparents, too) will be there to cheer her on every step of the way.” Thanks! Heather
