This sketch was particularly hard for me for some reason. I finished this week 4 before I could pull together something for week 3. Sometimes it is like that :(Journaling Reads: This is the 12th annual Brickwell Reunion. Every year I go a bit nuts leading up to it & threaten not to go. Why? Getting ready is so stressful. First packing, it takes a lot of stuff to camp for a weekend. Second – it’s a scrapbooking contest & the competitive steak in me goes it bit overboard. And third, it’s a cooking contest. Which I hate! But, everybody else is competitive about, so there’s lots of pressure. But when it’s done … and we’re there… then it’s the greatest! I am so thankful for the time with my cousins and their children. To watch the kids form special relationships with their 3rd & 4th cousins is remarkable. In many families they’d barely know each other. In ours, they’re friends. YES – WE ARE FAMILY!
