Journaling reads:Jeff and I had been dating such a long time that I never thought we would ever get married. Little did I know that my birthday trip to Mesquite, Nevada to get a weekend of pampering would serve another purpose! I had a spa weekend planned complete with massage and the works along with a romantic dinner. I never expected a proposal. In fact, I was just teasing him the day before about how I believed he would propose to me if the day ever came. In true romantic form, Jeff found the very first ring he bought me and placed it in a little, red plastic toy container from one of those $0.25 machines and presented it to me with the most endearing birthday card! On one knee, he asked me to be his wife. He completely caught me off guard! After lots of tears and laughter, I, of course, accepted!TFL!
