I used the May Arts ribbon as a tail for the ‘shooting star’. Here is the journaling:Brendan, I worry. I worry so much that no matter what I do or say to you, or my self, the real world is just never going to understand you and your uniqueness. I hope that by the time you go to school that kids will just look past your different nature, but I know better than that. And I can’t hold your hand through that process. It worries me and also makes me sad. You are special and you are you. People, because they don’t know how to handle you, or anyone being different then themselves, will make this hard on both of us. But we will talk and I will try to help you understand that, in the end, what is most important is the love you get from your family and God. I just hope that I can instill that in you now. I hope that eventually I will never have to worry about how people will treat you ever again. It is a dream and wish that I hope will come true.
