whilst i am waiting for my digital to cough up the pics of my cj (and its most wonderous contents) i thought i'd post my entries in everyone else's cj's. Since i'm “stitching impaired” there's gonna be lots o pages to look at (sorry bout that)#1-5 is my entry in Linda's (redplaid3)cj #1 opens up and you see #2 & #3 and 4&5 are little things i tucked in. The left side of #3 is a shadow box (made with foam core). Linda's was all about simple pleasures and i took that to mean the things that made me smile.#6-11 were in Michele's (mjfc) Destination journal. I chose to travel to a place i dream of visiting one day - Provence, in the south of France. I guess i like to make pages that open out :-). #6-7 open out to reveal 8-11 from left to right. I didn't scan the portion under #9 but suffice it to say that picture of “my villa” LOL lifts up to show a map of Provence and a few blurbs of journalingPat's Journal (pmaddox) is next - i hate to paraphrase the intent of the journal but i guess i'll try: it was about thanking someone who did something important for you and they didn't even realize it but you felt deeply touched by their actions and part in your life (howmidoinPat?). This one was pretty personal and the entries in it were touching. #12 & 13 were my entries in Pat's - the subject of my thankfulness is my most wonderful nephew, Justin. my kids and he are pictured on #13 (they're like the 3 musketeers those 3 :-))(i tried getting all of the entries into one post but you can't do past 20 sooooo i'll do the next 13 in another post)If i can just say here that each of these journals was amazing. The work of their owner was remarkable - some have posted their cj's and some haven't… take time to look at them if you can. They are just amazing and i feel quite honored to be in their company and having been allowed to make entries in each of their journals. Such amazing artists you are! Thanks for letting me play :-)
