My parents would've been married 52 years tomorrow -9/8. My Dad passed away in 1990- although he's not here I cannot let their day pass without some remembrance for my Mom. Not long ago my Mom let me take home a big bunch of pictures that were my grandparents photos (my dad's parents). Amazing stuff.(a couple were of my grandparents before they were married!late 19-teens!) I used one of those pics for my first transfer for the challenge. I used the ink jet iron on transfers as i happened to have a package - transferred onto cardstock. Also MM paper and MM date stamp; SU Classic Alphas (remembering) and Wordsworth Italic Alphas (#52), and Adornament ribbon which scanned purple but I assure you it is the same shade of blue as the bg!!!! . My mom loves this color combo so thats why i used it and i like how it goes with their picture. She looks so beautiful in the picture and its hard to see but my Dad is holding her hand and its just so sweet.
