This LO was inspired by the DW2006 calendar, August 17 - layer a pre-printed transparency over a photo. I have had an idea for this LO for a while and wanted to use the Hambly transparency overlay for it. I've had a very hard time finding a source for it in Canada though, so when I saw the equivalent pp that I was picturing, I decided to go with it. So, that's why this page is inspired by a transparency, even though there isn't one on it - LOL! We were the first to the splash pad at a playground near our home a few times this summer, and the kids had a fantastic time with it all to themselves. In this photo, ds is sitting under a set of arching streams of water, soaking in the summer sun! Supplies: all pp is MME Bohemia, word “sun” is from MME and I mounted it on chipboard, painted the edges and covered it with glaze, the HS ghost letters are painted on the back so they would show up better. Acrylic alpha soup letters on the photo by KI, Junkitz flower with HS centre, chipboard words by K&Co., and Li'l Davis, MM mini alphabets for journaling, misc acrylic beads. TFL! Holly A.
