Michael Strong's challenge to the participants in the Enjoy Michael Strong Stamps Yahoo Group was to make a holiday card that with a maximum size of only 2 1/2“ x 3”. Yeah. ATC makers wanted to know what happened to the other half inch. LOL. We could use any stamps we wanted to use.

CARD
2 1/2“ x 3”
I used a Nancy Curry technique from her book Texture Effects for the base card.
Black Glossy Cardstock
Pearl Ex–Interference Gold and Spring Green rubbed over the cs
Alcohol inks–Meadow and Bottle & Blending Solution pounced over the Pearl Ex to dissolve and set it

STAMPED PIECE
I used a resist technique.
White Glossy Cardstock
Michael Strong Square Stamp, trimmed
Versamark Ink
Ranger's Clear Superfine Embossing Powder
Distress Ink–Bundled Sage

CHRISTMAS TREES
I love this little tree. I have been looking for a small tree punch for several years. I was so happy to find this one.
Paper Source Paper Punch
Scraps from an ornament gone bad that I made for Holiday Thinking Inking–nice and sparkly from Perfect Pearls

STAR
EK Success Paper Punch
Bright Gold Metallic Cardstock (very shimmery)
Swarovski Flatback Crystals–Jonquil, SS12

ATG Gun
American Craft Dot Glue–for the trees and star
Sakura Quickie Glue Pen–for the crystals

As always, the sparkle and shimmer doesn't show up in the scan.
