Here it is! This is for the TwoPeas circle journal group. My theme is JOY. Page one is the cover which has a poem about Joy on it, some white emobossed cardstock…it's beautiful IRL! Other pp by Amscan, beads from the fabric store that I glued down. Page 2 is going to be the sign in sheet which I made to look like a memory board, used some ribbon and sewed some beads on too. I made tags for eveyone to fill out with their names, hometown, etc. and I'll put those on this page when I get the journal back. Page 3 tells about my theme and what joy means to me. Page 4 is the first of my two required layouts. It is a scraplift from the Nov/Dec SS, page 39. Journaling reads: “The joy of love, epitomized by my children, my mother, my boyfriend. How lucky I am to have them! The greatest joy I have ever felt in my whole life is that of being a mother. I have two wonderful teenagers who, just by virtue of their birth brought the most intense feeling of joy to my heart. In the almost 19 years that I have been a mom, I still am awed when one of them calls out to me…it used to be “Mommy”, now it’s “Mom”, but it is the sweetest sound I’ve ever heard! My Mom brings so much joy into my life too. She is the most selfless, loving, giving person I have ever met. She puts other’s need before hers, not only with her children, but with everyone. Just knowing that I am lucky enough to have her still with me brings joy to my life.My boyfriend, who is one of the most loving people I have ever met. On the outside, he’s a macho man, but on the inside he has a heart of gold. He’s always coming up with new ways to make me happy…never realizing that he doesn’t have to do a thing but be himself!”I learned how to print on a ribbon, so I added that at the last minute.Page 5 is also a scraplift from SS, page 45. Journaling reads: "~~JOYFUL MOMENTS~~§ Seeing my children for the first time after they were born§ Baby smiles§ Looking into my boyfriend’s eyes, and seeing true, heartfelt love§ Hearing my mother say, “How can I help you?” whenever I have a problem§ Hearing those three wonderful words…”I love you”~~JOYFUL PLEASURES~~§ Spending time with my family§ A venti caramel macchiatto from Starbucks§ Godiva chocolates, Hershey’s kisses§ A home cooked meal…prepared by anyone else but me!§ A bubble bath…with a glass of wine to sip on…and maybe some of those chocolates! Are you still with me??? LOL I'll quit here…this has been so much fun…can't wait to get started on the other journals! TFL
