With this card, I wanted to mix a variety of patterns and themes by using the vintage car image against the bold, striped “more modern” paper pattern. The idea all started with the buttons. They matched the striped paper. Then, I wanted to add something that was a stark contrast to the striped paper. That's when I added the flourish-style torn paper (Foofalah). To add more “contrast” to the card, I ended up with the vintage image of the car. TFL!
