This is my very first beeswax collage. <br>Image from an unknown source. Butterfly images from Tuscan Rose CD Volume One. “Contessa” was computer generated. <br>Little monocle from Stampinton & Co. <br>I covered the entire canvas with red acrylic paint. After it dried, I added a thin layer of beeswax and layed a dress pattern (from Goodwill Store) over the wax. Then, I added more wax over the pattern. For detailed instructions, Google Beeswax Collage and follow directions by Claudine Hellmuth. I highly recommend a quilting iron (the one that looks like a curling iron) to do projects like this. You will need it to re-melt and smooth your wax as you work on your collage. <br>TFL!
