I love your style!! This is splendid!! I had those metal pieces way back when and used on a layout about Savannah Georgia (one of my all time favorite layouts), they're so fun to use!! Great job!!
That photo is gorgeous! I love the banner you created too! Gorgeous paper choices! You have a great knack for choosing papers/embellies that perfectly compliment your photos!
Oh Gosh where to start on such an amazing layout. You definitely pulled off the medieval banner look, it is beautiful. You picture is just stunning, love the curved line of the boats with the arches of the bridge. Wonderful photography. This is just an excellent page all around.
This is just behind Trinity College - well along the back of a lot of the colleges - you can take a punting float/ride back through to see the "other" sides - it's really beautiful back there - I hope the college students who go here appreciate what a wonderful place they have to learn! OK - so I bought these cool metal pieces - they looked like tiny curtain rods, and I just couldn't pass them up. . . and I had no clue on what I was going to do with them. So as I was scrounging around in my stuff I found them, and a light bulb came one. . . a banner. Kind of like an old medieval banner in a castle. So here it is! I had so much fun making it! I used my Spellbinders dies (edges) and different Graphic 45 papers, some gold washi tape, bling, flowers. I also used an embossing folder (diamonds) on the brown section and then used ribbon to drape over the rod with a few black jewels and inked all the edges in brown distress ink. I used small punched hearts that I layered with dark brown card stock and a patten paper on top and raised it all with pop dots. I cut the leaf flourishes and the title box with my Cricut/Gypsy, inked the leaves, and embossed the box with black & gold embossing powder and added a quote.
