This is my attempt at doing a more simple, graphic layout. Harder that it looks, I keep reaching for extra ribbons, papers, buttons then I have to stop myself from overdoing it!!

This is another page about my youngest dd and her funny use of words. THe journaling reads:

"You’re always cracking me up with the funny little words you use, Meagan. The one you’ve been using lately is ‘Heroic’ except you totally use it out of context. I think you think it means gigantic. So you say things like, “He had these big heroic ears”, or “I went and picked this huge, heroic apple!”
Daddy was pleased when you called him heroic until he realized you were talking about the size of his head!
I love that you don’t hesitate to try out new words and I know one day you’ll use them correctly, but I think I’m really going to miss these sweet funny little moments."
