I could see making space on your mat by trimming the "dead space" off the right side of the individual photos - the dark area on his and the big white door on hers - I agree with either a 2nd mat (using PP) behind the white or a frame made of colorful ribbon a bit outside the white.
I love simple LOs! I would try to "break up" your "1 big picture" (that is composed of 3 picts) by leaving a little space between them. And then cut a notch around the "Boo" embellie! I think a splash of Halloween pp would make the lo really pop! And, I would try to jazz up the title (maybe tie some ribbon on to a few of the letters).
I really like it - maybe you can add *something* but I would keep it simple - the colors are great and the whole LO is really pic-focused, which is awesome.
I think it's really cute: the photos are just gorgeous! I like that at first glance they appear to be one photo.
I would add dimension by doing something to the word "spook" in the title. In the last issue of Scrapbook Answers they showed all kinds of ways to jazz up a title and I would use the method of taking a white pen and putting dots in the middle of each letter the whole way! This would make the "spook" pop more!
I would also put 2 a strip of patterned paper running vertically under the photo the whole length of the page!
I like the colours on this LO and the title really 'pops'. I think that maybe matting the photo on some paatern paper would be good and maybe some ribbon that is red/orange. i have only just spotted the embelly in the middle of the photos which looks great.
I think this is adorable also! Love the title, thinking the eyes in the O's is a great idea, maybe just a 1/4 block of Halloween pp in the lower left corner to add something. Love this LO tho, they are so cute!
I'd definitely mat the photo with some colored paper.. make sure you keep their names and the date.. you don't want to lose that. At the bottom i'd do some kind of stickers.. ac moore has some really cute embellies.. they're made by the same company as the ones i have on my wedding page. they're like 3-d almost but halloween theme. you could put a few of those on the bottom and some ribbon to match the paper you put under the photo.
They have such adorable Halloween PP out there at the moment, maybe mat the photo in something like that with a pattern: candy corn, stars, orange/purple polka dots, etc... that would bring some pizazz into the plain colors (which I love BTW). Maybe you could put some little jiggly eyes inside the "o"s, like they are "alive" or something is in there peeking out and some Halloween stickers along the bottom (I would go with some really nice Jolee's 3-D pumpkins or costumes or something, nothing glossy or too "flat").
I think this is really cute...I agree that it is missing something though. I like the idea of keeping it simple and congrats on putting 3 pics on one LO...I have the same problem. I think if you put something down on the bottom going across the page and also maybe some stickers or something throughout the page. Like maybe one ghost sticker up on the top. Or if you were to add an orange border around the picture that might liven up the LO. Just several ideas I think might work...I would just try a few and see which looks the best.
Three pics on one page! A record for me. Somehow I managed to make it look like one big pic. This one is very simple and I feel like I could add more. . .
