Midwinter blues prompted me to page through a spring bulb catalog. When I saw this variety of Lily, my eyes widened with excitement and I ordered some, knowing that I'd have something to look forward to, come spring. I've never seen a lily like this and it gave me something new to watch through the summer, first stalks and leaves, then buds and finally these gorgeous blooms.
I'm already looking forward to next year.
