What a gorgeous PL! Love the spring theme and yes you sure picked up the other categories too. I'm always amazed at the fussy cut images, pretty laces and trims, bling, bling and more bling! It all comes together to create a stunning gift that Kathy surly will love!
Yes I have received this beautiful piece of art and it is hanging on my wall as we speak! It is the most amazing piece of creativity. I love everything about it and yes it ticked every box in our brief. When I got it I was blown away and spent an hour pouring over every single little piece. The details are incredible and the fact that the napkin was fussy just blew me away! Of course she has inspired me and now I will need to experiment! LOL! I feel privileged and honoured to be included in the swaps here as I know coming all the way from AUSTRALIA sometimes makes the wait feel like it is not worth partnering but I do truly love the friendships made here and the creative inspiration gained. Every swap I learn something new and this one was no different! Thanks Elizabeth you made the end of my week very happy indeed!
Wow you gals have out done yourselves with your PLs this week ... This stunning! I love all the beautiful lace but that lower left is my favorite because I love purple. I'm sure Kathy loved this!
I think you got it all covered except for the kitchen sink! Each ATC is so beautiful & I have to pick a fave because Rebecca does & I have to copy her!:) I like the 4th one because it is so unique, but my fave is bottom left, love the purples & the polka dotted bfly! You did an awesome job GF & I know Kanga loves it!:)
Gorgeous pocket letter. You did a great job of incorporating all 3 themes and I love all your beautiful details. I can’t believe you fussy cut a napkin!
Well, my friend Kathy in Australia, (Kanga as we call her), received her pocket letter from me so I'm here to share it with you. We decided to go with all three themes for this month's swap here on sb.com and hosted by Rebecca (Nunya). The themes to choose from were Spring is Here, Anything Green and Vintage or Shabby. I hope mine covered them all!
I have posted close-ups of each row to see detail better. The papers I used for the pockets I found at one of our local antique malls and I was thrilled to find them. They are Cosmo Cricket Fleuriste in Vineyard, Primrose and Dew Drops. I ran five of them through my Darice Vine Pattern embossing folder and the other four through a Sizzix embossing folder that Kelly (KVRLVN) sent me and then I sanded the raised edges down.
The fledgling robins top left is Webster's Pages Garden Gala Vellum. Little flowers from Hobby Lobby, Diamond Chunky Glitter Glass from Reneabouquets. Top middle: lace from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB. I used Lime Green Glitter Glass from Reneabouquets on the leaf die cuts. The metal flower I've had forever I painted with Ballerina, Hydrangea and Orchid Liquid Pearls. Top right: Tutu pink mini prills from Carri (Caletts). The wreath is from Jolee's Boutique.
Middle row: Girl image from Pinterest, Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets. Middle image from Marylou (Meggie's Nana), die cut from Amazon, lace under it and on the side bar was from Pamela Joy Boutique. Right: Little Girl with a Parisol is Printed Beautiful Board from Reneabouquets, image under it from Pinterest.
Bottom row: Image from Pinterest, butterfly from Reneabouquets. Middle: intricate frame molded by Faith Griffin on Pamela Joy Boutique. Right: This was a doozy...I fussy cut the beautiful goldfinch and branches out of a very delicate printed napkin!!! Believe me when I say that took some doing!! LOL Spring sticker I've had in my stash for ages from the dollar store! Gold Raspberry Glitter Glass on the flower and by the leaves was from Gone Artsy.
Thank you so much for stopping by my gallery and thank you to my friends who shared their lovelies that I used on this PL!
