I love this crate paper...perfect for these pics of my father and I. Both of us are about the same age in these pics, and I colorized mine to match his so I could compare family resemblance.
The jouranling reads:
You were there for me. Everywhere. The soul provider of my existance for the first part of my life. Even though your job had you working the midnight shift making our time together limited, I was deeply bonded with you and knew you would protect me. I watched you jump out of bed to volunteer on emergency fire calls, charm pieces of wood into benches, and share tender moments with my mother. The tears I now cry are not ones of sadness, but from bittersweet memories that slide in and out of the forefront of my recollection about a man that taught me family values, shared laughter, held me up through tough times and whom I respected beyond words. What you provided me cannot be replaced by any other.
