Give a Cheer
Mixed media layout for the final page in my Hawaii album. This is the sunrise over Mauna Kea and I thought it would be a nice way to end the album. I used 49 and market paper applied clear gesso. The paper had these faint outlined white flower, so I used that as my inspiration and stamped/embossed in white/silver pen sketched flowers from Altenew. I also used this stamp on vellum with distress embossing glaze and cut them out. I embossed, white, and glaze on chipboard butterflies. I also embossed the tile with glaze. Lastly, I stamped on masking tape with archival ink and embossed with distress glaze. The blue tape was inked with distress inks before stamped and glazed. The frame for the photo is made from paperclay and a mould, then I painted with Lindy's magicals, distress ink spray and some white gesso.
