One of my best friends and I went to a WVU game this past football season. This is not the most creative page I have ever done but how creative can you really get with a theme like this? I thought it turned out pretty good, though. Here is what the journaling says:
Lee Ann and I went to Morgantown yesterday for the WVU game against the Cincinnati Bearcats. Lee Ann bought the tickets off of a friend of hers who had season tickets but could not make it to this game. We were on about the 15 yard line, 7 rows up which I thought were pretty good seats because I felt like we were right in the action when they were on our end of the field and I could still tell what was happening most of the time. But I guess that just depends on your own personal perspective as to what is a good seat. We brought a big bag with us because for some reason it is like we are 85 years old and have to be prepared for anything. In the bag we had a blanket, sweatshirt, gloves, earmuffs, and a scarf in case it got cold, ponchos in case it rained, Aleve, Immodium, and Relpax (migraine medicine) for any physical problems we may run into, cell phones, billfolds, and cameras. It started raining pretty hard by the time we reached the stadium so I had to put on my poncho. We went into the stadium and found our seats. It had stopped raining, so I took my poncho off. It wasn't too much longer before the band started to play. The band was awesome and it brought back memories from when I was in high school band. The game started and a few minutes later, it started pouring so I had to put my poncho back on. I figured after that, I would just leave it on because it apparently was going to rain on and off through the entire game. And it did. There were times when it was flat out freakin' pouring. We got soaked and I would have been just as dry had I not had on a poncho at all. I am really not a huge football fan, but I had so much fun even though the weather was bad. But, WVU won which was awesome. I would definitely go to another one but I would just hope that it didn't rain.
