this is really neat ! I like how you framed the page with the paper and the photos look great. I like the ribbon across the bottom with all the memory images great idea :)
I offered to help a friend fix a couple of his old photos of his mum and uncles. Spent ages in photoshop removing tape marks, tears, etc. Then as an exercise decided to recolour one of the black and whites after reading a new tutorial and had a lot of fun with that. Now that I'm into digi scrapping have taken the process further and scrapped al three photos. Put a lot of emphasis on photo realism this time (ie tried to make the scrap look like a 'real' scrap) and am very happy with the result, although I still have a lot to learn about shading!
Best fun I had with this lo was the picture strip at the bottom. Hunting around for images from the 1960's was a little tricky, but rather funny as well!!!
Oh No! I just realised that the title is wrong. My friend's mum was a Gillis so that would be her married name, not her maiden name. DOH!!!!!
