I made this one as a little pick-me-up for my Mum.
She caught Covid 3 days before her 98th birthday and spent the next 10 days isolated in her room at the care home where she now lives. She had flu symptoms but began to recover nicely. She had negative test results 3 days running, only to be told on the 4th day that she tested positive again! So back into isolation she went.
She is on the mend again but feels quite low, so I wanted to send her my love and remind her of all the lovely things in life she can look forward to, including swinging on the swing in the sunshine! (She LOVES going on the swing!)
I coloured the stamped and heat embossed image with DO inks used as watercolour and added some small yellow pearls to all flower centres. The 2 flowers and leaves in the corners were fussy cut and mounted on foam pads. I sealed the image with Distress Glaze. The German sentiment reads: I am so glad I have you!
