Give a Cheer
Back in 1990, I was barely making a living and was renting a ground-level teeny studio apartment, which was a gem of a place for the price. Unfortunately, about a year in, I was caught off-guard with a Peeping compounded by a creepy security person. Luckily, at the time, my parents were living overseas and didnt have anyone living in their townhouse yet. I was so lucky to have them generously rent it to me. (My payments were kind of sporadic and they saved that money to fly me to Japan for visits.) They ended up taking the money I sent them, somewhat sporadically, and used it to fly me to Japan every so often.) My only challenge was my furniture, which completely filled my 400-sq ft studio, barely filled the master bedroom. I put most of it in that room and I think I had, like, two dining chairs and the smallest dining table you can imagine in the middle of the giant living room!
