What a beautiful treasure you created Elizabeth. I love that paper collection, but I love all things fairy. Your flower work is gorgeous, and I love your shabby embossing, bling, and laces. It's so beautiful!
You put so much work and love into this one Elizabeth, it looks totally amazing! What an enchanting scene, everything glitters and sparkles and is softened by all that gorgeous lace and flowers! The closer I look, the more details I can find. An absolutely stunning creation!
Your assortment of lace and embellishments is astounding (especially the teardrop pink bit) and the scene you created is equally astounding. What a beautiful project and I'm sure Michelle will have her breath taken away!
This was a fun project. It took quite awhile to choose my papers and everything that went on it but I finally decided on G45 Fairie Wings. I made this for Michelle McDonald and she told me she likes fairies. I applied Triple Berry Lunar Paste through a Prima Stencil and Later Gator Paste through a TCW Mini Vines Stencil. I fussy cut the fairie and used Tim Holtz Distress Collage Medium Matte on her wings to use Reneabouquets Beautiful Bits Diamond Fine and Vintage Rose Glitter Glass on her wings. I used Orchid and Buttercup Liquid Pearls and Star Dust Stickles on the flowers. The crown on my raised fairie was from Hobby Lobby. I glued a Reneabouquets butterfly in between the fairies hands. Then, I painted the embroidery hoop with Testors Island Breeze Matte Acrylic Paint and then Gold Metallic Acrylic to tone the blue down a bit. I used a strand of pearls on the hoop from Flair By Me. On the wooden gate, I used Ranger Purple Tinsel embossing powder and Stampendous Shabby White. I then fussy cut a couple of fairies from the G45 collection and added Stickles to them to match my large piece, then glued them on. I added a pretty pendant from Hobby Lobby to it. Then off to the flowers. The only way I could get the look I wanted was to cut a piece of white card stock to glue the flowers, leaves, dragonfly, butterflies and lace onto. I used Prima Micro Beads in Berry, Tu-tu Pink Mini Prills and Reneabouquets Chunky Glitter Glass to the flowers. Then I glued it down to the hoop. I also glued the little bottle. I used some old lavender lace and white lace from my stash to the back of the embroidery hoop. Then added a butterfly and dragonfly to it also. On the butterfly I added Metallique Wax in Peacock and Sweet Rose. The silver intricate piece was from my stash that I added to the top along with a Tim Holtz adornment that I added Metallique Wax in Electric Violet and Old Silver. Special thanks to: Kelly, for the flowers Carri, for the pink mini prills and berry micro beads C.J., for the lavender twine Brandy, for the leaf and butterfly moulds
