Give a Cheer
While this project is actually six layouts, it is all one story so I am including it as one entry. It all started when I found out my sister was pregnant back in 2013. I raced to the store to buy baby clothes of course, because that's the first thing an aunt does. But I had no idea what sex the baby was. Luckily I found a whole section of sock monkey clothes that could be used for either a boy or a girl. I proceeded to buy up everything the collection offered. At Christmas I gave my sister the clothes and the first two layouts document that. Then my nephew was born and the next four layouts show how cute he was wearing the clothes. Then when he was three I started making an actual sock monkey for him but since I am no seamstress, I didn't finish it till he was 8. Which was okay because he really didn't get into plushies till then. The last photo shows the grown boy with the actual sock monkey. I will treasure the memories that all started with the wonderful phone call so many years ago. I think this is the first project I've done that his spanned so many years. So keep those photos and the scrapbook supplies. You never know when a story you started years ago will be complete.
