OH my gosh! She is soooo adorable. I love the title. One of the favorite things about my babies are their sweet little feet. :) That folded corner is perfect! Is that a little tab under there? Extra journaling, maybe? I love the inked edges of your photo mats. I have to say, for you to say that you don't doodle (I can't get over using that word in a sentence), they are exquisite. For some reason, I don't really need to see much more doodling on this LO. I want your DGD's picture to be the focus. If you were to add anything, I would like to see the green doodles at the top of the magenta square (under the heart) at the bottom also. The black heart looks good to me. Maybe some white gel doodles around the inside edge. You did a wonderful job! I know it was a big step, but it was fun wasn't it?
That folded corner is a neat idea; I'll have to try that. Annie, I see elements of your page that you can run with, and I'd challenge you to do more doodling. I like your vines, the flower bunch, and the hand stitching doodles, as well as the colors you used for them. I suggest you try this idea from one of my neighbors' avatars. Take the heart and portion off 4-5 sections of it with different lines (wavy and straight) and in different directions and sizes. Then fill each portion with a different pattern--leaves, flowers, polka dots, stripes, dashes and dots. One of those portions can even have "Diva" in it. I think if you stick with the black heart, you could use gel pens in different pastel fluorescent colors for your doodles, and it will look pretty sweet all filled in.
