For March Scraps Challenge using all scrap paper except for base cardstock (in this case base paper). The only paper used for this was a scrap piece of vellum and a small scrap of pink bazzill. The "In Bloom" patterned paper is my base paper. The flower in the lower left corner was a hostess gift and the journaling reads: "I've always loved flowers. When I was a little girl, I can remember picking wild flowers from nearby fields and bringing them in the house for my mother. I guess my love for flowers came from her since she is a horticultural person as well. I began working at a small florist at Praise The Lord Ministries (aka PTL) when I was just seventeen years old. Actually, I was only hired as a cashier but it didn't take me long before I was mimicking the designer who would come in twice a week to arrange flowers. I found it so easy and enjoyed designing so I began reading books on the subject. Subsequently, the owner began selling my designs and I knew I had a gift for floral designing. In 1993, I started working as the Floral Manager at a local Harris Teeter in Rock Hill. After five years of managing the floral department, I left and started y own florist, Touched By Love Florist. Today, I still enoy designing for weddings and small events and my florist and life are always.... "In Bloom"
