I love that you were brave enough to use photos that you hate!!!! That is really challenging to do. That photo corner technique is very neat :D

This is a fabulous LO! The fun photos are a great idea for your before photos! I tried to take serious pics, and I just look like a giant white pumpkin sitting in my yard!

Before

This is my 'before' layout for my weightloss scrapbook.
The journalling reads: 'I hate these photos. They are, without a doubt, the worst photos I have ever seen of myself. Ugh. Yuck. If it wasn't for the fact that they make great 'before' photos, you can be sure I would have deleted them and no one would ever have seen them. If I ever need to remind myself why I'm on a diet, I'll just look at these pictures. Say goodbye to 'Ellenormous'. This is the last time you'll see her this size. Photos taken January 2007'
I used a craft knife to cut lines in the paper, and inserted the photos under the lines, like you do with photo corners.
