This is my dad (on the left) with his friends John and Vern. The picture was taken in 1990 at my mom's 40th. I found this picture at my parents and this summer and thought I would make this for my dad. I think it will mean a lot to him. His friend Vern died around Christmas in 1997 of a heart attack. He was only 49 years old. It was real tough on my dad adn I know he misses him.
I started this as an 8x8 however couldn't find a frames...so the 8x8 is still in the center. I just added a little background to make it fit a 12x12 frame. This way he can keep it framed or put it in the 8x8 albums I made them over the last few years.
There is a place for hidden journaling behing the picture. I left it blank so my dad could add the journaling that he wants.
