This is very creatively done. I like the twig idea. I also live in Indiana, and I love taking pictures out in the country when the leaves have all changed colors.

I love your hidden journaling. And you actually wrote stuff! That's the hard part. <g> Love the colors. Traditional but with blue brought in (I guess from the autumn sky) and the block behind the picture being a little more wine red than autumn orange red (at least on my monitor), it has an extra punch. Made me homesick for Michigan. But, come January I'll be glad I moved to Florida many years ago. <g>

This is for the August Favorite Things challenge. The quality of the scan isn't very good, but it's the best I could get! "Autumn" is made out of twigs from my front yard (my fiance's idea...I had NO clue he was that creative!!!), and there is a pull out at the bottom, you can barely see the brown ribbon, with journaling. The journaling says: Autumn is by far my favorite season, always has been and always will be. I love the way the air starts to turn crisp. I love hot apple cider and pumpkin pie. I love the feel of an old sweater on my skin. I love the way the trees turn colors that make them look on fire. Autumn in Indiana is gorgeous, too. I always hated living in Indiana when I was growing up. But when I move away, I'll miss the beautiful autumns here, the way the trees take your breath away, the way the corn whispers in the wind, the beauty and wonder of Indiana autumns.
