I love this lay out. This is a picture of my grandmother when she was a little girl. I was very close to her and lost her recently, so this lay out is very special to me.
The journaling reaads:
Beautiful Rose. Here you are so young. I never knew you this way, but I can imagine how vibrant you must have been. When I met you, your hair had already turned tothe beautiful silver that I have always loved. I look at this picture and imagine you practicing piano while your grandmother was cooking. I remember how you told me she was always shooing you out of the kitchen to go practice. I loved al the stories you told me about your life. I know you never thought your life was very exciting, but to me it was an adventure. You were born in 1917 before women had the right to vote. You eloped at seventeen to marry your childhood sweetheart and didn't tell anyone for six months. That took an enormous amount of courage. You raised three children and two grandchildren. You saw the world change so rapidly, but always handled change with such grace and ease. You taught me how to be a good mother and how to love with my entire soul. You taught me that children are the most important thing in life. The moments I spent with you were precious. You have been the most influential person in my life and hope I can always make you proud. I love youwith my whole heart and soul and not a moment goes by that I don't miss you. I thank God in Heaven every day for being your granddaughter.
