This is for toofclnr's (Tara) September Imperfect Lives Challenge. The 2 twist's this month were to create a 6x12 layout and to "free" ourselves and try something out of the ordinary. This is definitely a different style for me, but I really enjoyed it. The journaling reads:

I was told I'd never find a job that paid anything since I didn't have an education---I didn't listen.

I was told I'd never make a good mother because I was a teenager---I didn't listen.

I was told I'd never have a better life than what I did because I wasn't strong enough to make that difference---I didn't listen.

I did leave the abusive relationship, I did find someone who loved and treated me well, I did find an amazing job, and I am a great mother.

I was told I'd never amount to anything---I didn't listen.

Thanks for looking! The 6x12 was a lot of fun! Sorry about the wonky scan...I had a devil of a time getting this to scan properly.
