This is one of my most favorite pictures to-date of my little girl. I started out with "paper" on the right side, but I ended up liking it so much better with no texture in it. I absolutely love using the paths in CS2, now that I finally got it! The journaling looked weird until I figured out how to make it curve. The color is copied directly from a layout of Kami's the other day with a little girl's (her neice, I believe) headband. I kept thinking how pretty that color looked, so I actually used my color picker to use the same color. Thanks, Kami! Of course the page needed a swirl. It looked naked without it. :) So, I had another opportunity to use Shaui's swirl brushes.

Journaling reads:
I am so proud. You have started saying “mama” and you are only 8 months old! At first I thought you were babbling like babies do. Now I am starting to believe that you are saying it for real. You do it all the time, and most of the time it is when you see me or I am holding you. It really gets me in the middle of the night, when I am trying to put you back to sleep, and you look right up at me and say “mama.” That makes me melt! You sure know
how to make a mommy feel special!
