Oh no, I love it Trisha!! I love the patterned paper! It's so fun and there is so much to look at that it keeps it interesting! I think you did a fabulous job!
love it....especially all the ribbon and the lettering! I would simply widen the orange strip around the middle, leaving the pp along the top and bottom. great halloween project!!
I agree with MrsVo, maybe solid black letters would be better. Then you wouldn't have redo the whole thing. I love all the ribbon on it and the pp is way cute!
Your pp strip in the middle is great- it virtually reads like a solid, so it does give the eye a rest. I agree with the comment about painting the letters black--if you want visual interest on them that doesn't distract the eye, you could sponge a little white or yellow on them (kind of web-like). Other than that, I think it's very cute, eye-catching and you'll get lots of oooooohs and aahhhhhhhhhhhhs from your students.
OMGosh this is just awesome, and I have to disagree with everyone, because your PP in the middle is plain with the bats, how cool, I love it just the way it is, you have the striped on the bottom and the plain PP in the middle and the words PP on top, perfect just perfect
It is very neat! All the pp are cool - really like them. I would keep them, but use homogenous and rather simple letters instead to balance the patterns on the papers. Black, I would choose, to go with the ribbons framing the papers. But I'm sure they will LOVE this as is!
I love the can and the two pp choices..I think it is the letters that need to be solid one color or the other - orange or black - to help it really POP! One way or the other - I would still take your class!!!!
Well, it's better than what I could do. But I think I agree w/ the others. I would swap the top pp for a solid when you do the class. But then again the kids may love it.
I agree with you. It is not your BEST can, but it is nice. I agree with you also about using a solid. I would pull it and change the top pp to a solid and leave the bottom pp alone. I like it better!
This is a class I am teaching next month. This is NOT one of my favorite paint cans.... If I had it to do over I think I would have used a solid instead of two patterned papers.. It's a little buzzy for my taste. But lets hope the Moms/Kids like it and the class fills up.
