YIKES! I am sitting here looking at that picture in shock! You are SO lucky to be alive! What a dreadful experience. Amd I am a firm believer in seatbelts, having been in a wreck while pregnant and the seat belt saving my life (an my daughter's life). Powerful page here, very powerful! Well done!
I've been to that river before. That must have been such a scary experience. I'm glad eveyrone was alright. I love the way you documented the experience with this page. Great job.
Wow, you are blessed! So glad you are okay. Amazing how something like that happens and it changes the way you think. You learn to appreciate life more. GREAT page, very inspiring. I like your journaling and the title too!
Excellent LO to describe such a horrible event in your life. Hope you are healing mentally. The splash license plate is perfect. It is big which in a sense means you had a BIG SPLASH! Blessings to you.
Thank you all so much for the love!! My children and I escaped from the car with little to no injury- someone was watching over us that day...
TFS this with me, it helps me get over it!!
Journaling: Yes, that is my car...in the Clark Fork River. *Challenge Rules* 1. Write on chipboard- I journaled on the brackets 2. Use one square picture 3. Sand something on the page- I distressed/sanded the license plate w/ my Chizzel-it by Provo Craft.
UPDATE: For everyone who is asking, I was in a major accident this winter (January) with my children. We slid around a shaded corner on a very nice day- there just happened to be frost on the road- see my "Suddenly" LO- and we wrecked. We hit the median, spun, took out 5 posts of guardrail, flipped down the bank of the river and were stopped (barely) by the rocks- see my "Adventure?" LO- in the Clark Fork River...we were swiftly assisted by three heroic truck drivers and came out (relativley) unharmed. This has changed my life-for the best. I have hope every day and am grateful every day just to be alive! The Car Seats and Seat Belts saved our lives- please buckle up and make sure that your kids' seats are properly installed. There are more and more hospital and police programs out there to make sure your kids are safely buckled!
Thanks for sharing, for asking, and for leaving your kind words. It is very hard to find products to use for these kinds of things. You really have to get creative... :)
