Great use of that fiber, and placement of the stamp and hidden journaling. I love the colors and your work on the chipboard title. That photo definitely looks vintage. Beautiful describes this lo.
Freakin LOVE the use of the broken sandal flower! Adds a nice rustic element here, plus way to use a non-scrapping item! I think I have a similar-looking macrame purse laying around somewhere, hmmm.... I kinda agree w/ Jess, don't think the black photo corners add much (though they don't necessarily detract either).
wow, what a great photo. that flower goes perfect with this LO. I am loving the colors of this whole page. I think I would paint the photo corners.. the black is just a little too harsh for this LO.
This was such a wonderful place to visit. The Pilgrim Hot Springs were really hot springs that we swam in, but the really cool part about this place was that it was an old orphanage that was built when a really bad epidemic went through the town of Nome. This orphanage was built for all of the children who lost their parents...I also believe that sled dogs were used to bring supplies to the children. These were some of the buildings left from this orphanage.
