My 17-year old dd has a love-hate relationship with her thick curly hair. It takes FOREVER for her to get it to lay down and look like natural curls in the a.m. The routine actually starts the night before. Here she is with clips stuck all over her head at bedtime. I think the idea is to "nail it down" flat so it doesn't poof out by morning. I can't believe she actually LET me take these pics of her. LOL!
