This is the music block and some of the boys at my sons school. Those of you will be interested to note that they wear uniform, black trousers and jacket, white shirt and tie. It is traditional for schools to have a uniform but not normally as formal as this. This is a boys Grammar School, all the students are top stream pupils and have to take an entrance exam to enter. My son is in the 6th form (year 12) his last year, and doesn't have to wear uniform but has to dress as though he is going to an office. Smart casual. Next door is the girls school and their uniform is pink and grey, during the last 2 years, that my son is in , the girls and boys study together. Thought you might like a little insight into an english school.
