Beautiful! The colors remind me of the Toby line from Elsie (probably just have it on the brain, since it's speeding it's way toward me tomorrow.) Love the design, too. :)
Wow, would you look at the wonderful colors on this page! Yowza! And I've really got to get me some of that diamond glaze...love how you've used it here!
I had been uploading pictures that I had taken of Luka eating cereal for the first time, and I couldn't help noticing how blue his eyes looked.
To do the words "blue eyes" in the title, I painted chipboard letters with the turquoise paint. Then, I cut some Heidi Swapp Bling circle frames in half, and adhered them to the round pieces of chipboard. Finally, I coated each letter with a generous amount of Diamond Glaze to give it an ultra-glossy, raised effect.
For the button in the middle of the flower, I covered one side of the clear button with Art Accentz Terrifically Tacky Tape. Then, I rolled it in the Martha Stewart glitter. I flipped the button over, and applied the Creative Imaginations date rub-ons to the non-glittered side of the button. And, I finished it off by tying brown waxed linen thread through the button holes.
The journaling reads:
I had originally taken this picture to commemorate your first time eating cereal. But, when I went to download the pictures onto my computer to edit them, I couldn't stop noticing how blue your eyes looked in this picture. Coincidentally, you LOVED the cereal. But, forget about that mess all over your face...just look at those eyes! Beautiful.
