This is a total scraplift from the Sept/Oct issue of Simple Scrapbooks. Thanks Margaret Scarbrough for the idea!!
Journaling reads: What a great time both of the boys had this Halloween. At Brenden's Pre-school, Kent View Christian , they held an Autumn Harvest celebration for all the kids. Blake also got to come and participate in the festivities because I mean after all, Grandma Elva is the Pre-school teacher and all. She does have some pull. They had big pumpkins for the kids to help clean out and then the adults carved them. Brenden loved sticking his hands in there and scraping the inside out. Blake did not want anything to do with it! The teachers set up a kind of mini pumpkin patch where all the kids got to go out and pick their own pumpkins to take home. Of course there was lots of fun, food, singing, and laughter. The boys went that night to a few friends' houses to trick-or-treat then it was on to Kent Commons where we met up with Jeff, Tammy, Jaclyn, and Katie. Inside they had set up a bunch of fun sctivities for little kids to do, and of course get candy! The whole gym floor was filled with games like bowling (small scale) bean bag toss, mini golf (Brenden's favorite), bounce houses, fishing, obstacle courses, and many others. It was loud, crazy, and totally packed but the boys had a really fun time there.
