How fun!! DH and I did this sort of thing the Christmas after Brian was born when all of our money went to diapers! ;) It was a lot of fun. Anyway, I love the journaling, and how you've scrapped everything. I especially love the inking! :)
Journaling: The Results Drew: found a metal shelf from work that was going to be disposed of. Knowing I’d had my eye on the new organization system from Making Memories, he realized by mounting the shelf flat on the wall, I’d have my own magnet board Cost: $0
Michelle: Drew had mentioned one thing he loved about Christmas at home was that there were always nuts in their shells and a nut cracker. Knowing he’d love to continue that bit of tradition for our house, I purchased a large bag of nuts and a cheap nut cracker. In order to not go “over-budget” , I wrapped the nut cracker and one nut with a note that read: “We set a limit and promised to stay under $2.00 for this Christmas day. I searched, but everything was just too expensive. As the deadline drew near, I became pensive. However, in the end, I followed my gut and all I got you for Christmas was this nut for a NUT!” Cost: $2.00
Products used: Paper: The Christmas Stack Tag: Joann scrap essentials Washer: MM Font is Freelance Script from a font CD Stamps: MM paisley (Thanks Nancy!) Ink: Tim Holtz Distress Ink
