Awesome!!! And what a great thing to journal! I'm so jealous of everyone's home... I don't feel like I live anywhere exciting and it's certainly not this pretty!! Maybe I need to go driving around a little more!
Leiks - You've got a lot of taste!!! By far the best I've ever seen - simple and elegant. Minimalism at its best. You should get paid for these... or anything to do with art. Absolutely fantastic! All your pages are in my favorite. This is the kind of work I aspire to create some day.
Whoa!! right to my faves!!!! You couldn't have done this any more perfect!!! I just love love love it!!!! I really need to get working on my lifts!! hehe!
loving that green with the stitches! Gosh...matching perfectly with the shot. A great story told that one day your ds will appreciate. A beautiful arrangement.

These were taken yesterday. DH took DS and I cruising from the sea to the mountain and I was able to get some great shots of my DS. Most of them are posed shots, but these are some of the few candid ones that I ADORE, and they go perfectly with the theme of this LO! TFL!
Journaling: The day we decided to move to Daddy’s hometown, I admit I had my fears. My main concern was the fact that it was so remote. Beautiful, but very much in the boonies. At the time, you were just a little over a year old so my immediate concern was getting you to your doctor in case of emergency. I had heard horror stories about the emergency room in town and was deathly afraid of ever having to take you there. There was no playground for you to play at, no play groups, and no one to play with who was your age. What about the school? Would they be able to give you the kind of education that you need? Fast forward 7 years later. You’re a country boy, through and through. The mountain and the sea is your playground. You’ll befriend anyone, younger or older. As for school.....well, we’re still working on that one but in the meantime, you have me giving you extra lessons at home. My fears have been put to rest. You feel just as comfortable hunting in the mountains as you do cruising the streets of San Francisco. You live in a neighborhood where I feel it’s still safe for you to play outside. You learn not only how to use your mind, but your muscles as well. You’d much rather be at the beach than watching TV or playing a video game. Yes, you’re a country boy. My country boy and I’m so proud of that! 23 SEP 2007
